Atomic Babble On

Updates from Mike Wellman and Atomic Basement

Hey gang,

Just got in from an AMAZING time at WizardWorld with Mr. Rafael Navarro. It's now time to lock and load and start getting ready for next year. Here's what's cookin'!

Mac Afro: Sleeze and Crackers -- David Walker and Rafael Navarro. Yes, folks, it's finally gonna happen! Raf has designed an awesome cover in the style of those old Whitman/Gold Key sci-fiers from back in the day. Originally slated to be a 17 pager, Raf noticed that it's missing a space battle over the weekend and is going to pump it up to 24 full pages! (Full color too, an Atomic Basement first!)

NightLife by Guy LeMay and myself. 64 pages of vampiric goodness. Status: Guy LeMay's thumbs are itchin' cuz I haven't written any new pages in a bit, but it's coming! I vow to have this out by summer.

A Shadow Called Danger by Brad Rader and myself. Okay, so we didn't save the world with the publication of TEX!� this is our sore losers comic. We've done a lot of the pre-production work on it, now it's time to sit down and get crankin'. I gotta admit, I'm a little scared though. Most of our main characters might be in prison by the time this one hits the web� that's right, THE WEB. It'll be a weekly strip on www.bushcomic.com.

That's it for AB. I'm also working on some freelance stuff from TokyoPop (big announcement soon!), Aerosol Press and a children's book. Busy busy�
